we just "pick and choose" what to believe from the Bible. Which is it?

I'll give you a hint: Both are wrong.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA! LOL! Nice try, but no matter what a christian says, we're always wrong. I'M NOT PLAYING A MARTYR, BUT IT'S TRUE. We say there's no heaven, we get cussed out for squishing others beliefs. We say there is a heaven, and we're pushing our beliefs on others. We don't say anything and we're indecisive B*******! Which is it going to be?

Catholics have had their doctrine since the first century, so what "tenets" of Christianity are they picking and choosing?

It was from the early Protestant Reformation that Christianity was corrupted, and people started picking and choosing what was taught. If they didn't believe in something, they changed it so it would accommodate what they wanted. A good example of this in the Apochryphal books of the Bible. Because they went against what Martin Luther taught, he got rid of them...

Modern day Xianity is simply that, blindly following the latest incarnation of the mythology by picking and choosing from the Wholly Babble what to keep and what to throw away. Xianity has changed many times throughout the centuries, we are just living in the latest version of xian nonsense.

Both are wrong, you say? So you claim that christians neither follow all the tenets, nor do they only follow some? Well, there's only one choice left, and that's following none of them. Seems pretty true from what I see, so I'm tempted to agree with you.

Are you killing you disobedient children?

Are your men bathing after sitting on seats that a woman on their period has recently sat on?

Do your men sit outside the cities a day after a battle?

If you're following the bible in its entirity it seems foolish, if you're picking and choosing then how do you validate this picking and choosing?

you blindly believe in what your parents or pastors tell you to reject and what to believe. you reject most of the old testement, except for the convienent parts about intolerance. you believe in a benevolent god despite the overwhelming evidence against such a thing.
