I never spank my children.And why should I?There are so many other ways to give them discipline.Spanking teaches them that "The older can beat the younger(very nice for your grandchildren,don't you think?)","People beat the others when they are angry("I start tomorrow in the kindergarten!")","This adult is dangerous.I'll be careful and will hide from him,so he won't see me what am I doing".Trust me,spanking doesn't stop the bad behavior for a long time(although it stops the behavior for the moment).

Only on a rare occation when there is absolute need to do so. My child has to be old enough to understand that she has done wrong and understand what the punishment means. (I would not spank my 2 year old she doesn't understand corpal punishment and in my eyes a 3 y/o is borderline). I have a 5 and 7 year old also. They do get spanked for serious crimes....

There really isn't an exact time or amount that I spank my daughter!
Really it's just when she does something really drastic!
She's 3 so she's all over the place!
But if she's cuttin up more than usual and just being a lil brat I'll get her!
But it really just depends on what she does and her actions at that time!
But if I had to estimate is would probably be about once or twice a day!
But Like I said it just depends on how she acts at the time!

haven't had two in a loonng time. last couple of years it just takes a stern voice. rarely, does it take a good hard open hand smack on the butt to get their attention, but that's about it. I started teaching my 3 what was right and wrong as soon as they could crawl and get into things. so in total maybe 5 times in 9 years has any one gotten more than just a smack on the hinder. spankings are reserved for very bad behavior.

not often only i usually just give him a look and talk in stern voice and then if that does not work then the corner and then if that does not work then i spank him. Then after i explain why i punished him.So he understands. But spanking is on a rare occasion i do not use that often bc it is not needed that often

Definitely once or twice a week on average, although the severity of the spankings varies somewhat from spanking to spanking.

honestly not more than 2 or 3 times a month. less even you don't want to make them think that they are horrible and it's their faul for every time they see you upset. and then they will get low self esteem!so make sure that when you do spank them it's not because they are horrible kids it's because they did something thats bad and it's a part of growing up and learning!good luck

Not often. Maybe a couple times a month. Usually all you have to say is "You want a spanking?" and that gets them in line ;-)

when ever they deserve it. definitely not daily, my kids arent THAT bad, but when they really have it coming to them, and hollaring and time outs arent enough. they get spanked. sometimes they could get spanked 3 or 4 times a month, sometimes they can go 3 or 4 months without getting one at all. i dont believe you should beat your kids, but if you dont make sure they know who's boss, then they will grow up n walk all over you or be teen age parents, or do drugs or commit crimes, because they have no sense of authority and NO RESPECT.

Never. I gave that up many years ago. Funny thing that it was alright for me to get spanked when I was a kid but now it is frowned upon. I spanked my kids when they were younger but discovered it usually hurt me more than them and that there had to be a better way.
