well the last time i spoke with my father was about 12 years ago...and he has obviously moved since then. i have his social securtiy number and birthday..i was wonder whats the best FREE way to find him? and if not free, then the cheapest..please help thanks

hi i had the same problem every year anyone can get a free credit check online you can see where he lives if he rents or from other things on credit report such as phone number from the phone service he has if in his name all these things are on a credit report if you have not found any thing i can e-mail you with some more ways to find him shartrise7@yahoo.com

Hi "me." I have been looking for someone for a while now and it is not easy, at least you have a SSN. I have tried public records (clerk of courts offices) and have gotten close matches but nothing exact. I finally gave up and looked into a private detective agency (there are many of them so be careful to hire a "national" and well known firm). I am being charged $500.00 to locate this person and let him/her determine if they want to speak to me.

There are three online directories you can use. They are state-specific so that's a bit of a bother unless you have an idea of what state. They are: www.verzon.com, www.superpages.com, and www.anywho.com Good luck.

hi yes theres a free way to find him the samy way i did my sister..you can go on yahoo to people search and find him that way theres a palce where you can put his ssn and age and so on good luck

Look for leads at intellius.com. Since you know his ssn, his middle name, his b-day (I presume) you should be able to get a good lead without paying.

try to look for his name and address in the yellow pages, or get help from the police station, tells them that you want to know where to find your father.
