Well CO2 emissions are still a huge problem because it's something that is easy to fix. We will always need to use trees to build things, but the energy sources used to build and transport things won't need to use CO2 sources once technology is advanced enough.
Trees are a two-fold problem. For instance, a tree is good at storing carbon in the summer (during photosynthesis), but if you cut that tree down, not only are you taking a way a storage source during the months where we are receiving the most solar radiation, but you are also (eventually) releasing the carbon stored in the plant tissue (when it decomposes or is burned, etc.).
Oil is a huge problem because it requires oil to actually dig it up. Solar, wind, geothermal and hydroelectric only require energy to build the initial machine to capture the energy. Oil is still a fixable problem and much more feasible to fix than cutting down less trees.

Air conditioned houses are emitting CO2, just like car engines. Instead of combustion occuring on site (as in a car engine), which is where the CO2 comes from, the combustion occurs at a remote power plant (assuming your a.c. is electric and not gas opperated). The CO2 that your (and many other's) a.c. is produced from the power plant which usually runs on fossil fuels such as coal, oil, gas, or natural gas (also a fossil fuel). Electricity from power plants comes from somewhere. That's why there is such a push for nuclear, hydroelectric, solar and wind generators.
Everyone has a CO2 debt that is released each day by everything they do - driving, running your a.c., powering your x-box or computer, and even breathing. Whether this debt comes directly from you buring oil and gas, from the electricity that you buy orginating from fossil fuel plants, or even the products that you buy in the store that used fossil fuels for fabrication, production and transport, doesn't matter. It's all emissions. The goal is to reduce the total debt each person contributes. So, every little individual act of conservation will have an effect if everyone is acting conservatively.
Planting trees and other plants are also benificial as they use CO2 to make sugars, so they are considered a "sink" or a "reservoir" for CO2. Planting more and reducing the distruction of vegitative areas increases the amount of CO2 that will be taken from the atmosphere, thus reducing the CO2 debt that is added to daily by everyone.

The problem does not soley revolve around our problem with CO2. But, research has been done proving that levels of CO2 in our atmosphere have increased 1000-fold over the last 100 years. It definitly is one of the main culprits that is adding to the problem of global warming. To be honest, vehicles are actually a small percentage of the problem with CO2 and other gasses emitted in our atmosphere. It really has to do with big business, and yes, things like air conditioning, etc. And you ask, WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO SAVE THE TREES? Well, imagine how much of our CO2 problem would be helped if the world could stop clearing rainforests to create more industry. it's all related.

GW is a fact - purely as that is been over millenia. the indisputable fact that guy is burning carbon deposits, and liberating gasses is having an impact. we could cut back our wastefullness, and take to blame possession of our planet for our human relatives. can we end it or opposite it? - no. What got here approximately final time? - temperatures rose, and forests used all that extra CO2 to offer plant life. extra wooded area fires led to photograph voltaic smog and extra desirable rainfall / freak climate. Then the cooling cycle began - the subsequent ice age. This cycle carried on for a on an identical time as untill the large floods levelled the earth - sweeping vertibrates into the oceans , and piling timber into large loos. those deposits grew to grow to be oil and coal seams - then the cycles of warming and cooling began back. this may well be a organic phenomenon. people have little impact interior the final plan. The earth will nonetheless be especially lots the comparable in 2 million years, because it grew to become into 2 million years in the past. So - can all of us clarify why the earth is transforming into fatter? If we weren't so stressful approximately GW - what would we be troubled approximately?. i think of GW is smoke and mirrors to occupy the ordinary public's strategies.

Wrong The CO2 may have increased 10,000 times ,go measure it is not there. If there is no CO2 there is no global warming.

No. It's the people who are the real problem. Earth will still be here even if its covered with smog and greenhouse gases... even if it's in a nuclear winter, Earth will still be here... it is humans who should need saving...

Hi. No one cause exists. The problem is that they all add up. Then take away the trees and we'll see what we get.

Right now, with global warming, the atmosphere is producing more ozone, closing that hole over the north pole.
It's a cycle.
