why do women decide they are lesbians then go out with women who dress like men? i have nothing against lesbians or gay people i just wondered why ?

Coz lesbians (the butch ones) want to be men and the girlie one's secretly want to be with men, but are too fat and/or ugly to get one, so they call themselves Lesbians to hide their secret shame! lol

I honestly think it's because some lesbians like the "maleness", but when it comes down to it they are more loving towards and feel more loved by a woman. Being a lesbian is more than just the sexual organs you are attracted to, it also includes loving the person as a whole and I think lesbians just find it easier to love women than men.

I think it´s to do with following a particular role within the relationship, and the masculine/feminine stereotype offers easy role models to follow.
Most relationships require some external model, or else they become far too complex.
Heterosexual relations follow role patters too. Sometimes the women in heterosexual relationships are more masculine than the men, and vice versa.

Not all women decide they are gay anymore than men do. There are degrees of gayness in both sexes from what I've seen. My partner and I don't dress like men and we are mistaken for gay all the time.
And the big thing, who needs a man when there are vibrators? They will please you, never complain and don't leave a wet spot or dirty underwear lying around.

I happen to agree with you. It seems like if you are woman, and you decide you don't want men, then you'd go with a woman that looks like a woman. I've wondered the same thing.

because you dont just decide your a lesbian you are one all your life, maybe they wanna try it with a woman but feel more comfortable knowing its a man.

not all do this. some are into the femme vs butch thing but many lesbians see themselves as both feminine and equal partners. this is what my bi friend told me anyway

Clothes don't make peoples genders different! It's what's inside... and maybe they are looking for a butch girlfriend, and they just are attracted to that type of other person...

Because they know what they have underneath all of those baggy clothes.... that and having a butch woman can give you the security of a man with the features you really want...
