Just wondering what you think is the coolest part about smoking? Is it the yellow teeth or your clothes smelling like a dirty ashtray?....is it your face getting deep wrinkles over time or spending thousands of dollars a year on little white sticks. Maybe its when you become an irritable maniac because no one will let you smoke in public places or at work and you need your nicotine. Maybe its just the lung cancer.

Haven't been a smoker for years, and would never start again, but there actually are dome cool things about smoking (not that they outweigh the obvious downsides - I did quit after all).
1) Blowing smoke rings is undeniably cool.
2) Most smokers actually share and share alike. It's a nice social thing. People who would never give a bum a quarter are happy to share their smokes.
3) For us working stiffs, it gives us an excuse to take a 5 minute break from work avery couple hours or so and just reflect. Ever since I quit smoking, I've stopped taking random breaks.

Well I would have to say the coolest thing is the fact that you play russian roulette with your body and life, maybe you'll get sick maybe you won't. Maybe you'll get lung cancer or emphyzema or maybe you won't. And the biggest plus is maybe you'll die young and and in the prime of your life and leave your family behind.
Or maybe you you will sign up and get a free laptop and forget about smoking. Now that is pretty cool

Or maybe it's because my cigarettes don't cause car accidents. It is a freedom I enjoy.
My face isn't wrinkled and I am 52 years old. It is alcohol that gives you wrinkles before your time. I know several people who are 20 years younger than I am and they have more wrinkles than a 60 year old because they drink.
I'll smoke where I want to when I want to. My choice.

wow. That was harsh. Why didn't you ask ' What is the coolest thing about being a heroin addict?' if you don't like smoking fine, but you don't need to show your disdain when no one asked for it. I am not a smoker btw. It is an addiction to some people you know. You are too quick to judge

I think it is something about the smoke itself. hiding behind a screen of smoke, being mysterious and all that. oh, and what's cooler than being with cool people. and cool people smoke.
I like to be mysterious, but I do NOT do cigarettes. if I see someone smoke near me, I take their cigarette right from their mouth and break it or crumble it.

Those nurses in intensive care who take care of those dying of lung cancer are really cute. If you didn't smoke, you'd never get to see those gorguous babes.
