because they don't have Jesus.

First, if they are non-believers in Jesus, they are more than likely non-believers in Satan, too. Thus, they don't believe something that which does not exist (to them, anyway) has control of them.
Second, by telling someone that Satan has hold of them, you are basically saying they are evil, they're wrong, they're bad people, etc. They are being judged as such based solely on what they don't believe rather than on their actions, intelligence, etc. Dare I say that a Christian wouldn't (or doesn't) like to be called Satan's Spawn merely for their own beliefs?

I do not agree.
Atheists can and often are wonderful, giving, people, who are generally more tolerant of other's views than those who are religious and feel a need to impose their medievel opinions on others.
I don't get mad if you tell me that Satan has control over me. I feel sorry for you, as you apparently don't have either the ability or desire to see the world more clearly.
I don't need to defeat Satan any more than I feel a need to defeat the Joker in the Batman cartoon.

Chew on this for a little while, Buckwheat. Christians make up about 75% of the US population and 75% of the US prison population. No big surprise there.
Atheists, on the other hand, make up about 10% of the US population... but they make up only 0.2% of the US prison population. Now, isn't THAT a surprise? That means that atheists are FIFTY (50) times LESS LIKELY to be incarcerated than Christians. Pretty strange, huh, for a group that has no god-given guiding moral principals, and is controlled and guided by Satan?
I can think of only two possibilities that might reasonably be said to account for this discrepancy:
1. Atheists are of a higher ethical and moral caliber than Christians, and thus are less prone to do the same kinds of nasty things that land so many Christians in the slammer;
OR,
2. Atheists are, overall, a lot smarter than Christians and thus, they are less likely to get caught in the course of their transgressions.
It's GOT to be one or the other... take your pick.
Whenever I see a question like this, I am appalled to be reminded that there are people out there who are so out of touch with their basic humanity, and reality, that they would not have any idea how to conduct themselves in society, absent the code of an imaginary supernatural being, based on the myths, superstitions, fairy tales and fantastical delusions of an ignorant bunch of Bronze Age fishermen and wandering goat herders.
Cooperation, altruism and love are innate properties of human existence... a more sophisticated version of the social organization that you can see among pods of dolphins or orcas, packs of wolves, lion prides and troops of chimpanzees. Moral consensus, moral conscience and mutual empathy are evolved survival traits. These are social constructs... the social lubrication that allows people to exist together. People come away with the misconception that they don't exist, absent religion. The religious puppet masters try to perpetuate that idea, in order to protect their conduits to wealth and power... but that is a canard. This has to do, entirely, with human nature.

How is there a Satan for us to defeat if we don't beleive? Why do beleivers act like they have the answer to EVERYTHING!? The answer is always something to do with Jesus or Satan. I could go on but I choose to stop here.

You answered the question already. They are non-believers. If they don't believe in Satan, they won't believe this being is capable of anything because to them, Satan is not real. I don't believe in Satan, and there's no distant evil being controlling me. Except for George Bush who controls my taxes.

Only believers are in control of Satan. Nonbelievers are not.
Non believers are free minded people, they love humans,
they are not fighting and killing innocent people in the name of religion,
They are not saying and arguing that they are Christians, Muslims or Hindus.
They are not wasting their time in Church and Mosques,
They are busy in improving the world like Einstein who was a non believer.
the more the person says he is a believer more he is possessed by demon and is up fighting and killing innocent person of other religion in the name of GOD.

As an atheist, I don't believe in either God OR Satan. Is it really that hard to grasp the concept of just plain not believing in something? You don't believe in, say, Harry Potter, do you? Well, to us God and Satan are both the same way.

Satan controls the earth, and God controls the heavens.
Since you fundie Christians are so grounded in your beliefs, it makes me think YOU are the one being controlled by Satan. Honestly, I hear most "Christians" talk a lot more about Satan and Hell than God and Jesus.
