Health insurance is a regional specialty. There are some national carriers.

Read each contract carefully & decide.

If you find one with a low deductible (which sounds great), then you go to the local hospital and find they don't accept this plan.

The trend is to take a high deductible plan in order to lower your premium.

Good Luck! :)

Try the larger companies in your state. You will save a lot of money if you only go for hospitalization (catastrophic) and not the day to day office visits. I am assuming you dont have insurance available through an employer.

The problem with individual health insurance is that the only people who will buy it, really need it, so premiums are high. Try here: http://www.healthinsurancechoice.com/12000-arc-health-insurance.cfm

There is no "one fits all" best plan. It depends on your location, health, and needs.

It's like me posting, "which brand of jeans fits best?"
