Would someone care to provide references to support this assertion? Allegedly, it was found on Mount Ararat in modern day Turkey. Last I had heard, there is a boat shaped black spot on it but that detailed imaging from space had ruled out the boat theory. So, does anyone have information from reputable sources on this topic?

If Noah's Ark had been found, it'd have been the biggest archeological discovery of all times, bigger even than then [fake] ossuary of Jesus... and yet she can't provide a single HINT of documentation, not even a link to a Christian site making the assertion.

So then, can we dispense with this lie now, hmm?

Steph W, that site has lots of evidence to discount the idea that the ark has been found and that finders have been hoaxsters. However, it's the first documentation that was provided. Thank you.

A wooden boat would have rotted away millenia ago.
I can accept that the story has a basis in fact. There are numerous stories about a great flood emanating from sources other than the bible. There are scientifically tenable theories concerning the flooding of the mediterrean basin and the black sea. Also, about 12000 BC the waters of the med rose dramatically. This would not have been a cataclysmic event, but people at the time would have been aware that the sea was encroaching. Noah would neatly describe a farmer building a boat for himself and his family and livestock.

He might be a supporter of the late Ron Wyatt, who insisted he discovered Noah's Ark, the Ark of the Covenant, Sodom and Gemorrah, the Ten Commandments, and a sample of Jesus' blood. In other words, a delusional kook.

There have been numerous claims about finding the Ark on one mountain or another. What many of these "discoverers" fail to remember is that the size of the Ark was very specific in the Bible and the rock formations they kept pointing to were far larger. In addition, wood is far too flexible and fragile to use to make a ship much larger than a Spanish Galleon...it would fracture under its own eight. Even AiG, that bastion of Creationist malarkey, has discredited most reports of the Ark. To date, neither Wyatt nor any others have provided any reliable evidence of their claims.

In the region I have heard of at least 3 who have seen the ark, one entered part of the ark!
Are any of them true, I don't know!
2 of them were not on Ararat!

Do I believe there was a boat yes, still exists, I think so.

They'll have a good time finding it..that, or every hardcore Christian website in existance will now be linked to this debate.

of course not. There's no way that there's any evidence of Noah's Ark. But those who want to believe, will believe anything- except how many different animal species there are on this planet.

I looked on a website that had some up-close photos of the "Arc". It looks like it is just sedimentary rock to me. Most geologist would find this type of inclusion interesting, but not anything unexplainable and most certainly not man made.
