I know you can freeze store bought, refridgerated dough; but I didnt know if you could do it with dough made from scratch.

Form your cookies on a cookie sheet, lined with parchment paper, when the dough is unbaked.. Put the cookies in the freezer. When cookies are frozen, take them off the cookie sheet and put them in a freezer lock bag, and back in the freezer. Whenever you want to bake the cookies, how ever many you want, put them on the cookie sheet, let them come to room temperature and bake.
This is so great, because you can make the dough when you feel like it, and then have fresh cookies when you need them with no effort!

Roll the uncooked dough into a fat sausage shape, wrap in cling film and freeze. When needed, partly thaw out (easier to manage than thawing completely) and slice thinly and put on tray and then bake. It only takes a few minutes to thaw.

you sure can. the best way is to roll the unused dough into a tube shape and freeze it. when you want to make them you can cut up the number you want and shape them the way you want. Alternately you can shape them into the cookies and freeze them with baking paper between each layer and then you can take out a layer at a time.

Yep you sure can, make sure you put it in a clear plastic baggy tho, and make sure no air is inside the bag. It will stay good for no longer than 3 month's & when you are ready to use just take out & thaw @ room temp. Have fun baking!!

YES!! Just put it in a zip-lock bag, roll air out of it zip and freeze.
If you want could make into a roll, to be able to just slice & bake! I've done this many times.

yes, store bought or home made. Just make sure it's as airtight as possible or it will absorb freezer odors.
