i know the doctor adds 2 weeks to it but we are only pregnant really 38 weeks most likely from conception but we can go as far as 40 weeks from conception right?

You will go as long as that child decides it wants to remain in the oven.. or until the doc says OK, this baby has had enough time to back and it's time to help him/her out of there!
Everyone is different, every new infant is different.. it is like they have a mind of their own... enjoy what little bit of time you have left to be pregnant... and look to the next full moon for a new package to arrive! You will give birth anywhere from 37 weeks - 42 weeks after conception. It really depends on your body and your baby.

I think it's 40 weeks from the start of your last period.

usually after 42 weeks they will induce..so yes about 40 weeks past your last menstral period.

you can deliver the baby two weeks early or two weeks late it all depends on the baby

they ususally let you go for no more than 42 weeks
