Can you get tylenol 3 in a store or is it only perscribed by a doctor? Have severe back pain and nothing else works. Heard about tylenol 3.

tylenol 3 contains codeine and it's a C3 controlled drug. you need a prescription, and it's even more regulated than a normal prescription because codeine has addictive properties.
First, if ibuprofen or naproxen sodium don't work, you should get a prescription from a doctor. Regular Tylenol isn't an anti-inflammatory, like ibuprofen or naproxen sodium, so if you're taking Tylenol, switch to one of them.

a Rx is needed for that. Doctor is needed, or you can go online and pay a very high price and get it there along with anything else you can think of

I'm not saying this is gonna happen...the Dr. will decide what's best for you...
