I am someone who goes to work, listens to either hip hop or rock during the car ride there. I don't cry and I don't pray to the devil.

Being Gothic is what you make of it. There's no set religious, music or dress ideas.
I dress in purple and black, wear silver jewellery, boots, and high heels. But I don't do the music scene and my religion is my own, nothing to do with the devil. It is a code of respect and tolerance.
But, I would still consider myself a Goth. Hope that helps :-)

Um... what?
Emo and goth are both fashion styles. They don't have much, if anything, to do with religion. Or devils. Or anything but bad fashion and even worse music.

Being goth or emo is not about devil worship. It's about self-expression and that's all. Those who think goths are devil-worshippers are clearly shallow and judging them based on mere appearance.
