Usually, fear of commitment. Finding someone new simply means he didn't want to commit to you. If his track record stays intact, he'll find someone new after the next one, and the next one, and so on.
You're better off without him. And remember, he'll never buy the cow if he's getting the milk for free...

Lots of reasons. If it was the same routine each time and you know there's nothing more interesting to look forward to. Or, if you find someone more attractive. It could be something that was said to piss me off. Or the excitement wore off because there wasn't that much to begin with.
It's like seeing a movie. Some you will watch just once, others maybe 2 or three times, and others you have to see it over and over.

Many -
One - 3 times was enough and decided he was not enjoying it or wasn't comfortable enough with her.
Two - Found somebody better.
Three - just a jerk who do not wanna commit to anything. he got what he wanted (which is to get in her pants) and is now off looking for a new target.

Sometimes guys won't continue to sleep with someone because they've found someone else, the sex wasn't any good, or that's all they wanted in the first place was sex.

there could be a few reasons for this,maybe he found someone else and is too tired when with you, or maybe you have done something to offend him, maybe he's going gay,and found a bf himself. you have not provided enough info for a good educated guess.

If she was "lame" in the sack.. Had an X who thought it was ALL about her... or at least 99% her and 1% you. She could finish fast and when she was done.. piss on ya, she was DONE.

It probably wouldn't have anything to do with the sex. For me, if she began to get on my nerves, or ***** at me, or make unreasonable assumptions, etc....then I might just want to call it off.
