Every curly girl has to find her own system....but this is what works for me:
1) Shampoo every other day (Matrix Biolage for dry hair)
2) Conditioner every day (Matrix Bioloage conditioning balm)
3) Redkin spin control on wet hair
4) Frizz ease mouse (scrunch in...just a little bit or you'll look crispy)
5) Air dry
Try to only blowdry or straighten once a week or less.
Works for me. My hair is never frizzy unless it is really humid out (and then I throw it up in a pony tail). When I want to straighten I use the Matrix Sleek Look System shampoo, conditioner, hair creme and spray and my ceramic straightener.

If hair balms and smoothe/shine products do not work, then you have really dry hair. So a good thing to invest in would be a good conditioner. With a great conditioner you wont need any to little styling products after a shower...

The best products I have used is Matrix Sleek and Smooth collection. You can get them at Walgreens now. They come in Orange bottles. Also to reduce frizz remember to get your hair trimmed every 3 months and don't over dry with the dryer.

use conditioner every day.....comb it through in the shower so it gets all the way through your hair......and don't use a hairbrush. just combs.
