The rainest month is Feb., & part of March. The most whales are seen on Maui. I lived there 16 yrs. The most whales are there during March, because they all come by then, also the calves are being born by then also, so the highest population is in March. Don't let the rain scare you, usually March is alright but last year we had 40 days & 40 nights of rain in March. I think I met dis guy named Moses one day while I was hiking up in the mountains. After Easter hotel & airfares get cheaper but less whales, or no whales.

whale-watching season is from about November to March; that is also what they call "rainy season" over there so you will get rain, but guaranteed the best time to see whales is during those months. i'm happy to answer any other questions about Hawaii; i just left there after living there 10 yrs.
