Dont' look to see how Pamela Anderson is dealing with it; she's uneducated in hep c issues, she continues to drink alcohol which will expedite the damage to her liver.
When you have hep c, it causes scarring on your liver. After years of damage, your liver functions poorly, causing extrahepatic symptoms (problems in other organs besides the liver). You should not drink any alcohol, and you should be vaccinated against Hep A & B . One form of hepatitis is dangerous; you need to make sure you don't get two types. Educate yourself about the disease so you can make informed decisions about your health. Treatment can help; I've been cleared of the virus for 6 years. Best wishes.
