I'm not sure what you're asking, but putting one's faith or belief into action is important. Anyone can claim to believe in something while sitting at home in their easy chair, but to actually put that belief into action--that takes a greater level of commitment.

Not Christianity, because one is not sent to heaven or hell based on one's works. Forgiveness and justice are the FOCUS of Christianity, but I would agree that works do indeed factor in.

In Buddhism, Hermitage seems to be emphasised over work, but ya know, religion operates on an entirely different economy anyway.
