That people have pictures of their kids up on their profile as their main image, but not pics of themselves... I mean, Most of these pics are baby pictures or todler pics, and the kid has no choice in the matter, and now that pic is out there for the entire world to see, and even crazy people. I just dont know if I think its right to have pics of kids up on the net as your primary photo. In all honesty, its NONE of my business... but maybe if people become aware that its NOT such a good thing to have baby pics of your kids up- They will take them down.

I think those people feel it's like their "brag book", you know, to show-off their cuties to the whole world to see. But I totally hear you; they should stop. Who knows what kind of creeps are looking at the pics?
Those parents probably never even thought about this, so they should be grateful for your comments!

first thought about this topic is that it is weird that the kids' pictures are up, rather than their own. but after some thought, i don't really see an immediate problem unless they are posting their address and pesonal contact info. i think they are just really proud and happy with their kids, but never really thought out all the potential issues (such as the one that you brought up). Maybe they will have second thoughts about it after reading it (if they get to read it at all). having said that, i would not post my daughter's picture up on a public forum (like this place).

I don't think it is weird, but I also do not this it is smart. Parents are very proud of their children, and want the world to see how wonderful they are! That being said, there are alot of sickos out there, and I am not just talking about pervs, but baby stealers as well (See most recent case in Missouri).
There has to be a line between proud and wise.

I completely do not imagine your toddlers ought to sense "a lot less" than her! i imagine the ABC trend is cute, and some thing i have considered! even with the reality that i'm no longer OCD about having names that are not in alphabetical order like than, i'm slightly pissed off at the same time as there are kinfolk member which have an analogous first call preliminary, till they are twins or all of them have an analogous first call preliminary. I do have exceptions although!
