Your bf needs to understand when you date younger people you cannot bow out of certain events just cause you have already did them. He should be supportive of whatever you want to do. Tell him to take his diaper off and act like a big boy. Seriously, that is rude of him to be difficult towards you its only for a few hours i assume.

I was in the same situation once. I dates someone 4 yrs older than myself and when I turned 21 he would always get mad and give me lip cause i was into the bar sceen and he was over it. Cause I didnt go and do stupid things that he wanted to do...

I would ask him 1 more time to come with me and when he syas no, be like Oay well im going and Ill seee you later. THen when you get back dont tell all about the night when he asks just be like it was fun. And leave it at that. And if he says is that all be like, I guess you'd had to be there

No. It wouldn't make me mad. Plus, I'd probably have more fun at an event with a female friend anyway. Of course, I have no idea what the event is. If you could tell me I might be able to better answer your question.

It sounds like prom? He should care about you enough to do this for you. Explain to him how important it is and that it won't be as special if he's not there. He may not be the right guy if he can't compromise for one night to make you happy. If he won't go; try to find a group of friends that is going stag.

Some men you really just can't change. If he doesn't go or doesn't do anything with you that he doesn't like then you just have to accept it and see if the flaw is small enough to overlook. Otherwise, sooner or later, if he finds your feelings, interests, and happiness important enough to sacrifice his feelings, interests, or happiness for he will give in. It's one or the other ... if you can't accept him or if he can't put his self aside to make you happy then you guys are going to feud and feud and eventually break up. Decide.

First of all, what is this "thing?" Are we talking about a prom or something.....
If that is the kind of thing you are talking about, then you need to let your man slide, particulary if he is out of high school. That would be so boring for him and if you force him, you will both be miserable.
Go with a bunch of girlfriends and have fun!

Lol, thank you for that. think ofyou've have been given difficulty advertising him as there's a glut of those on the marketplace on the 2d. you are able to desire to attempt including somewhat grubby image of a few b*mbo as an incentive. sturdy success

if its that important to your than he needs to stop being so dang stubborn and go for you. that's not to much to ask. well unless he has a fear of homecoming. my bf is younger and if it was really important to him i would go Cus i care about him

To me that is a discourtesy to you. . . I would be upset. You might want to find out what's going thru his mind. Age is an excuse, not a reason.

If he doesn't want to go, it may just not be his thing. Go without him and have a good time regardless of if he goes or not.

so what if he doesn't want to go? My husband didn't want to go to any wedding conventions with me and I didn't get mad at him. I asked one of my girlfriends to join me and we had a great time!
