peaceful political world conditions?
Okay------------well---------
The torture and terror is sad.
It is sad indeed, and probably the Iraqi government will
handle the judicial part of the crimes against the citizens
if they ever get established as a real entity.

The Bible foretells a time when peace will be achieved—but not through the efforts of humans. Psalm 46:9 says regarding the Creator, Jehovah God: “He is making wars to cease to the extremity of the earth.” How will God accomplish this? By means of his Kingdom, for which many sincere people have repeatedly prayed. That Kingdom is, not an elusive condition of the heart, but a real government through which God will establish peace from one end of the earth to the other. The inspired prophet Isaiah foretold that subjects of that government will not “learn war anymore.” (Isaiah 2:4) By means of a worldwide educational program, people will learn to live in peace and thus “beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears.”
"But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,
And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." (Psalms 37:8-11)

I find it very bizarre that so many people call for the US troops to be pulled from Iraq immediately.
Most of the violence in Iraq does not even involve the foreign troops. It is the Sunnis killing the Shiites, the Shiites killing the Sunnis, and foreign terrorists killing anyone they can.
If the US, UK, and all the other foreign nations pulled out their troops, the violence would not miraculously end. In all probability, it would increase dramatically because of the lack of military forces who attempt to maintain order.
What you would end up with is another situation like Lebanon and Sudan where everyone is calling for UN troops to be sent in. Why is it a good idea to pull out the troops who try to maintain order if they are only going to be sent right back in under a different flag?

The Iraqis have to assume the responsibility for their health and safety and security. No one can do this for them. Until they all step up and resist the hatred of the groups trying to destroy the democracy, many more will die. The terrorists are relying on fear, hatred and death to keep people from reaching their goal of a free and open society. Terror cannot exist in an environment where small minded, hateful, warmongers rule the day. If the US leaves, they are on their own, and they must step forward and decide for themselves how their country will run. If they kick out the Syrians, Al Queda and the Iranians who just love to kill native Iraqis - things would be so much better. Then they must curtail and control their own hate groups organizing death squads to kill members of opposing religious groups and trying to chase out the American soldiers, who are only their trying to insure the safety and security of all Iraqi citizens.

I'm still trying to get over the hundred million people kidnapped and brought over to make money for white people. Not including the 50 million that died in transport in the bottom of slaves ships
packed like sardines. And speaking of decapitation, how about adding castration without anesthesia or pain killers and the millions beat down and hung!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am concerned, not only about the suffering of these poor Iraqis, but about the role my country has played in creating this mess.
Is there anything ordinary citizens can do to help?

Why do you think Bush tries so hard to redefine torture, to change the war crimes statutes, to pull us out of any treaty which recognizes the world court, etc. etc.
