I would appreciate if those who believe in God and Jesus would share their stories of faith and hope, I need some encouragement right now. I believe in them because I'm going through some rough times and I have seen God's hand helping me. I would also wish to have you pray for me. Thank you

How much time do you have? i could write a book. But I will stick with just this year. I am a single mom. I lost my job last December. I have lived on unemployment and sold off my 401k to survive this year.

We have had an amazing year. I ran out of money and unemployment and God gave me a job just in the nick of time. It is only part time however. SO then He made my pay so high that only working 5-7 hours a week almost gives me the same income I had on unemployment. I have so much confidence now in God taking care of us that I have adopted(unofficially) a 22 year old brother in Christ who needed a place to live. We have also taken in a homeless man for a night and 6 meals.

As soon as I took on these extra mouths to feed more provisions from God rolled in. From People who did not necessarily know that we had extra mouths to feed. just this last week I have been taken grocery shopping for anything I wanted, given a gas card with money on it, given fresh sweet corn, given a cake, given 20 dollars(all from different people). This has got to be the best time of my life!

Well last night I saw this show on TLC and it was about this 4 year old girl that made Sloth from the goonies look sexy. It was so sad and you should be thankful to be alive and functional. You have a computer and food and all kinds of things we take for granted everyday. We have the luxary of complaining about how bad this and that tastes and oh my car broke that's several hundred dollars. At least you are not being perscuted for your beliefs. make the best of what you have

Depression happens to the best of them and to everyone I beleive but things always go bad and good.

In my life I have been spared a few times and I will stray away from God a lot and sin but I will always defend God no matter what. It's hard but no one is perfect.

Example of God's grace.

It was late one night on the highway when I was driving home from about 40 miles away when I was starting to fall asleep. Well there is this stretch of about 8-9 miles from one exit to another and I was dozing off over and over. Well it came to my attention that I don't remember driving for several miles and when I awoke the very first thing that popped in my head was an angel saved your life. It wasn't OH MAN I JUST FELL ASLEEP at the wheel. It was an angel saved you life and then I realized I fell asleep. Now people can say I'm crazy and who cares because I know the truth about what happened and beleive me when my heart was racing so fast all I could do was thank God. Don't give up. I think you need some new friends that are positive and not negative. It changes your outlook on life.

Being of a particular faith has no longer some thing to do with how solid someone is on the interior. i'm happy the youngster did no longer ought to undergo any added hypocrisy and brainwashing. once you're sick, you're sick and shortage of life/ailment does no longer discriminate because of religion. we are all human beings and suseptible to any raging, detrimental ailments and diseases. After Armageddon we received't ought to agonize about this, OR pretend non secular CULTS any further for God will take care and remove this badness from his introduction for solid. Your tale, even with the reality that heartfelt, changed into too winded and also you're putting too a lot right into a pretend non secular doctrine. I merely thank God that she didn't wish a blood transfusion because if she did, which could have truly brought about her lack of life because the witlessness do not remember on blood transfusions to save lives. I racket and a ideas-controling cult.

I personally have going through a tough financial situation. I was at the point of wondering where my next meal would come from after paying all of my bills and tithing, but God was there willing to help me out. Then, when my water heater went out, I thought it was over. For months, I boiled water on the stove to take a hot bath. Out of nowhere came a check from my mortgage company that stated I had overpaid escrow for the year. That check was a welcome sight, as was the new water heater. Still going through some financial problems, but starting to feel a little better about it with God's help.

Of course. I have come to believe that God is faithful, His word perfect, and that I can stand on it forever.

About two years ago my Dad passed away at the age of 91. Four days before he died, he said "yes" to Jesus as his savior. He was an unbeliever all his life. I had been praying for him, with others, for about ten years. God brought before me these verses, two months before my Dad died: "I am not an idol with eyes that do not see, or ears that do not hear". He knew my Dad was in need of salvation. And, from the book of Exodus, right before He parted the Red Sea for the Hebrews...."stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today; the Lord will fight your battle for you, you need only be still". God was true to His word, He heard my prayer, He saved my father.

No matter what is facing you today, what heaviness is on your heart, God is more powerful, more loving, than anything that threatens you. He is in your corner, He knows your need, He will never let you fall. I ask in the name of Jesus Christ that this sure hope fill your heart and mind.

God created the earth and all that is. God was lonely so He made man and walked with him in the Garden of Eden in the cool of the day. God provided everything man could need for him, but saw that man was lonely so He created woman. The only instructions they were given was ,do not eat of a certain tree. In time Satan in the form of a serpent told Eve that it was OK to eat of the tree, so she did.She offered Adam some and he ate, this separated them from God. Because of this original sin, the world needed a savior, so God sent His son ,Jesus, to the earth to pay the ultimate sacrifice, by dieing on the cross to pay the penalty for mans sins. When Jesus died it made it possible for us to be saved and have fellowship with God again. By accepting Jesus as your personal savior and asking God for forgiveness, we are saved. Jesus did raise from the dead and because of that we will raise after we die and go to heaven, if we have Jesus as our savior. Jesus is the only one who died for the people on earth, because He loves us so much. This was simplified, I would suggest reading the Gospel of John in the new testament to find out the details. Never forget that God loved you so much, He sent His only begotten Son to pay the price , so that you could go to heaven someday.

You would find much more encouragement and hope without such superstitions. There's a deep level of contentment to be found with reality, even if you're having a difficult time.

Nothing fails like prayer.
