anybody on here ever been a crew chief, the other crew chiefs told him that when he flies to average it out as 80 dollars a day

Depends on where they go,, set foot in some countrys and get out of a months federal income tax. And,,,,, every penny helps.
If their lucky the plane will break down every time they land on the Spanish Reviara.
Some day the AF will have to open a maintence depot there ;)
But expect a phone call from Visa or Master Card every time he buys something in a different country. Will drive ya nuts ! !

I have no clue, but I do know some of the flights are long. What little they receive is little compensation to the hours they are in the air.
