If you don't know, you shouldn't be using the bathroom. Buy a bucket. There's no wrong way to use a bucket!

Dude, just sit.
No one is watching so you don't have to feel unmanly not standing and all. Leave the standing for the urinals. Save the women from late night swims and all day bathroom and floor cleaning activities.

Just clean up after yourself if you can't aim into the sufficiently big enough toilet bowl water- I think some guys can't even aim it right if they're trying to p*ss in the ocean. (I have a husband and 3 sons, so I know this is a fact) lol!

By please not piddling on the seat. If you do, wipe up after yourself. As for putting down the seat, don't worry about it except in the middle of the night...if Mom sits down and has a cold wet encounter I'm waking you up with a bucket. Just a hint, my dear. Blessings.
