put hairspray in before you curl it and it will keep the curl defined better. Also make sure when you take a section of hair you start in the middle of that section and then pull it to the ends, then curl it around the iron, keep it in there for about 30 sec. and slowly release the hair. try to avoid brushing it but if you have to just do it lightly.

Be sure the curling iron faces the same direction each time. If you have layers, try starting at the bottom so that they all curl the same way by the time you do the top layer. Avoid letting the ends of your hair stay in the curling iron, this is very damaging. (So then curl all but the end at first, hold the hair in for about 5 seconds then do the end of the piece.) Make sure you're curling it all the same direction, otherwise it will be a mess. Have someone help with the back. If you have a round brush, stop to brush it under every once in a while. (That is for the curled under look.)

I have naturally wavy hair and to make it look curlier I start by using a special curl enhancing shampoo and conditioner to wash it. They are made by several different brands.

Once I've washed it I let it air dry a bit and apply a curl enhancing gel or spray, then I blow dry it with a diffuser on the end of the blow dryer.

Once I've done that, I take a small barrel curling iron and take a few individual strands around the face and curl them. I take a couple at the sides and back to make it look fuller. Just by having a few strands curled makes the entire head of hair appear curlier.

Then I apply a frizz control serum over the hair so that the curls are a little more relaxed and appear to be more natural and not like they've been made by my curling iron!

The things we girls won't do for beauty... :)

Okay my first language is not English so I might mess up with some words, but I hope that you will understand.
You should get a big harclip and clip your hair on the top of your head (or make some sort of a ponytail), and just leave a few mops of hair (?!) at the bottom. Start curling those at the bottom then put a little hair spray on them. Then let a few more hair down and curl those... so go step by step. Don't comb your hair, and at the end just spray hair spray on it so that it will keep in its place. I always do it like this and it works me. I hope that I could help!

Hey!

i think the best way is to seperate your hair into small sections. and then curl the strands. You dont have to follow a certain order. Remember s curls are suppose to be messy Look at people have naturalcurly hair. It's def. not in place. and after you curled your hair seperate a couple of curls and in the end spray on some volumizing hair spray.Good luck

I agree with the others. Make sure that you go all the way to the end of your hair with each curl....being careful not to drag/pull the iron all the way down (this will cause splitting) which would then cause frizz.

You can also use a gel or mousse made for curly hair or for use with styling.

pass ordinary with that iron i think of they are too harsh on hair and could pass away all of it dried and broken in case you utilize it too lots. could no longer you get some versatile rollers and wash your hair and while it remains incredibly damp curl it up with the rollers and pass away it to dry. in case you haven't any longer have been given any versatile rollers you're able to desire to do it the oldfashioned way 'till finally you get some. Tear an previous pillocase or any gentle textile (perchance Jcloths would do) .Tear into strips with reference to the width of a folder and approximately 5cms huge .Take a bite of dampish hair and place the ends interior the middle of the strip of cloth and roll it up purely like a versatile curler and tie the two products of cloth jointly to hold the curl there. while dry undo and run your palms via it .If it seems iffy you could purely wash back to be decrease back as you have been. Use much less hair interior the curlup for tighter curls and extra hair in curlup for wave result. have exciting.

I'd say, go to a professional, tell them how u want your hair curled and watch how they curl your hair and the products they use to get your hair the way u want it 2 be. And if all else fails just keep experimenting, you'll get the hang of it!!!!!!!!!
