It depends on how much stuff is involved in doing your return. I'm not with H & R Block (I have my own practice). I would probably charge about $100 for a basic return (1040, Schedule B, Schedule A), and go up from there. If you're self-employed, selling stocks, have non-reimbursed business expenses-all of that stuff adds roughly $20/schedule to the cost of a basic return.
In any case, get in quickly. You're still not too late to file 2005 (with extension, which is automatic, you can file 2005 by 10/16/06). Your real problem is going to be the penalties and interest for not paying any tax due on time. There's a penalty for late filing, another penalty for late payment, and then interest that is calculated daily-ouch! Get off of the computer and start filing!
