Is it that God looks like people? Is it that the supreme being loves us? Is it that we are so superior to other animals that we cannot be related to them? Something else...?

That my heaven doesn't exist. That by them saying I will go to hell, all they are doing is eliminating me from their heaven.
That the advancement of humanity isn't worth trying.

The fact that they cannot imagine a world without their mythology dominating everything.
The fact that they cannot comprehend someone who intelligently dismisses the idea of an invisible being who loves you so much he will torture you in hell for all eternity.
The fact that they label anything that challenges their fairy tales as satanic and evil. The fact that they have a strong tendency to be homophobic, xenophobic, bigoted, misogynistic, anti-intellectual, anti-science, and overly obsessed with hell and punishment.

The undying propensity for intolerance of others' religions or beliefs. I think that and blatant hypocrisy are a close tie and often go hand in hand.

a) We're so superior to animals we cannot be related to them, b) everyone else is wrong and going to hell because it says so in the bible (no matter what it says in their holy books)

To me, it's that it's the one true religion, and followers move (excuse the expression) heaven and earth to convert those they believe are wrong.

That "they" are right and everyone else is wrong but that is present in other religions besides xtianity.
