I keep hearing about spinach, so I guess that's why I thought of it.

I went on a trip with my uncle and his school (he is a foreign language teacher, so he organizes it and took me for free!) to Europe....we went to three different countries which were Italy, Switzerland, and France. Now, France was our last stop so thats where we left for home. We had time to kill in the airport in Paris so I bought me a sandwhich. Now, I didn't really look at it but just started eating it. Then, after about 2 or 3 bites I realized that the bacon on it was raw! It was a pretty thick sandwhich with lots of veggies and bread so the meat was hidden and I didn't notice right off. I was sick the whole flight home...it was awful :(

Frozen lasagna from local grocery store. Gave my husband & me food poisining. That was three years ago. We had to go to the er and be put on drip to stay hidrated for one whoel day. we were given medications to keep from being nausious but didn't work completely.
We have not ate lasgna since then and propably never will. Thank goodness our son was not old enough to eat food then or he would have gotten sick too. I am very picky about our frozen foods now. Maybe one frozen pizza a month.

I ate the Cajun Chicken Pasta at Chili's a few years ago. It tasted okay, but I woke up so sick in the middle of the night. I threw up all over the floor at 2am. I felt awful and had to clean it up. The smell of my vomit mixed with carpet cleaner made me even more sick. I lost it again. I felt awful for 24 hours and then was okay. I still haven't eaten any chicken from Chili's. I didn't eat chicken for 3 months after that.

the sickest i ever got from food was from bad mussels at a relatively nice restaurant about 6 years ago. I was wrenching for hours. so bad. Truth is, most people when they think they have food poisoning really don't. Usually when you get sick from food it's not actually the food, rather it's from a cook or waiter who didn't wash their hands and transferred bacteria to you via the food.

Homemade chicken noodle soup! I had just come home from having my daughter and a friend of my mom's was there to help. While I slept, she made a big batch of it and I was sick for days. And it's anyone's homemade soup - I guess it has something in it that commercial soup doesn't. Never again!

My mother found a rat tail in her chili. Said she would take it to court and later recieved a nice check in the mail...=)

Rice and pork. The pork was not cooked all the way and it made me sick to my stomach and other things that I would hate to mention. Horrible 2 days.
