What organ is located behind and directly above the belly button? Is it the stomach, large intestine, or something else?

it's the large intestine.

but if you are having pain in that area, that does not neccesarily mean that there is something wrong with your sm. intestine. there is a phenomenenon that occurs in the body known as "referred pain"-meaning that there is an abnormality happening in one area (say the stomach), but it's being felt in another (around the heart).
