I know that for hair as dark as mine, I have to have them bleach it before they even dye it so that the blonde won't turn up looking all orange and nasty. Just how much do I have to bleach it at once? Can i do it all in one run? OR do I have to like bleach it once today, once tomorrow, and then finally I can dye it like a couple days from now?My hair is so dark and I want it to be like an Anna Nicole Smith bright blonde...

You will fry your hair! All that bleaching and stripping will leave it like straw.........get a wig that has the blonde color and keep your real hair healthy!

OMG! Don't yet! Like try temporary stuff first cuz some people just are'nt ment to blonde, for alot of people their natural hair color compliments them best. So maybe go to one of those salons where they take your pictures and try diferent hairsytle, colors on the pic so you can see how it'll look befor making your decision. There are to many blondes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think more people like brownw hair anyways and like darker hair like the indivdual stands seem to be thicked than that of blonde, and seriousley if you go Blonde the gimme a break I 'm blonde excuse is seriousley considered a real excuse!

you had better get this professionally done. it will damange your hari considerably and you can even lose all your hair if you try it yourself.

it is a 2-3 step process and may be painful because the bleach may chemical burn your scalp - happened to me a few years ago. I'm a dark brown and went to light blonde and got such scalp burns that I had scabs on my scalp and it felt like it was on fire.

the upkeep will be expensive and time consuming too and the hair is REALLY damaged

Don't!!! Please, don't ruin your hair like that. Going from very dark, to very light is a long journey. First, check around and see what your friends and family would think of you with light hair. You may look washed out and ridiculous with it. If not, however, go slow. Lighten your hair a few shades every six to eight weeks. It'll take a while, but you wont have to worry about your hair falling out in clumps.

Doing it yourself could cause your hair to break and start falling out on the spot. Bleach is the most trickiest thing to use. Seeing that you totally don't know what to do, DEFINITELY get it done professionaly!

I would go to a professional salon, and for platinum blond it would look good if you have pale skin an blue eyes.

if you have blonde hair this will naturally get bleached by the actual sun in the summer. There has been this guy in my class who also had golden blonde hair that had been a medium brown near the base. When he came back to college after summer vacation, it was almost platinum blonde!
