I have 2 cousins who are older than me by 4 years or something..when I was klittle they used to complain at me ..like the way I did my hair or the way I pronounced some french words..(coz they went to french schools) .. and now when I'm older I think they hate me..they're always good to my sister but I feel like they don't trust me to say anything personal as they do with my sister..they made me cry I think..who gave them the right to do that? I think they judge me too behind my back..like the way I dress and stuff like that..what did I ever do to them to treat me like that? they're coming tomorrow anyway..so how shall I react towards them..coz it's always been difficult for me to meet them??I'm always uncomfortable when I'm with them..

They have no right to judge you, but obviously that doesn't stop them. Don't listen to them and don't take anything they say personally. Keep in mind that they are immature jerks and nothing they say has any meaning.

I understand that you care because they are your cousins, why else do you care? Are you looking for acceptance from them? Yeah they're family and all but you have to live your life the way you want to and if they can't accept you for you then to hell with them. Look at it like this "They're missing out o a great relationship with you!" Yeah it's easier said than done but it will get better, so don't worry about them and what they say. They don't have a heaven or a hell to put you in or out of.

I've experienced the same thing from people I went to school with &, some family members. The best thing to do is to just be yourself. And if they don't cut it out, you can either walk away & ignore them or, confront them. If you prefer confronting them, be confident. It's not a contest of who's better. It's a/b being respectful &, honoring who you truly are. They wouldn't want you to treat them like that. Besides, you're not a little kid anymore. It's time to behave like who you are inside - a liberated, mature, self-confident woman who can be who she wants to be. Don't even bother sweatin' them. I know it hurts but, it's time to take control over how you live. If you know it's not true or, you don't have the time to listen to their lies, then you know you don't have to let them effect you anymore like that.

They are soooo obviously jealous of you!!
Next time they start in with that same kinda stuff, say "Wow. You are really insecure aren't you? I mean you are constantly putting me down. Does that make you feel good?"
I know it may sound a little harsh but you are gonna have to stand up for yourself & put them in their place!

Let me tell you something. People who act like that to others and treat people like that are jealous. Maybe they are close to your sister because they don't have anything to be jealous with her about. Do what you like and makes you feel good. Don't worry about how they think. If they treat you badly tomorrow tell them they are not welcomed at your house anymore. You are better then them because you are not judgemental. Do not let them get to you. No one should judge you. I think you should acting normally and don't show them that you are upset about the worlds that are telling you or about they're behavior. In this mode they will see that you aren't annoyed and they wont stress you again.
