Hi. I had a period when I was pregnant with both of my kids. It's typically a rare thing but I have been hearing more about it lately. I was 19 when I got pregnant with my 1st and 21 when I got pregnant with my 2nd. I had normal pregnancies, no complications. My period was also normal bleeding when I was pregnant. I talked to my doctor and it was normal for me. If you are experiencing it though, I would immediately talk with your doctor, if anything just to be safe.

No, A period is when the unused egg and the uterus lining is disposed of. If your lining was disposed of when you are pregnant then that would be a miscarriage. Now you can have regular bleeding throughout a pregnancy. Many women will refer to this as their period, but it's not really. I had a lot of bleeding when I was bleeding and it ended up being because I had placenta previa. Any bleeding should be reported to your OBGYN as soon as possible because it may indicate a problem.

For some girls,yes. For most,no.
I get extreamly light cycles when I find out I'm Preg.
So if you're like me,make sure you have a pantyliner on
underneath your maternity undies.

No, your period is the shedding of your uterine lining... used to support an embryo. You shed it, you aren't using it.
