Probably not. If these things are done on a monthly to bi montlhly basis, and you are not really wearing all of your bedazzled cloting out in public all the time, then it is ok. Don't fear change, because you have a lot to catch up on. You can still love Scott Baio, but try and search for a picture of him NOW as opposed to when he was still in his "chachi" faze. Oh, and you can buy pants that aren't bell bottoms anymore, they are called the straight leged pant. Black is really chic, but I am sure you can find them in denim as well. Good luck modernizing yourself!

LOL! Some of that stuff is actually coming back in style! I wouldn't worry too much. My hubby just bought 21 Jump Street on DVD and my ever so stylish 13 yo daughter has decided she LOVES the 80's she is now wearing a key hanging from her earring, and she is fascinated with Holly Robinson's wardrobe. She draws the line at saftey pins on the jeans- she loves the wide leg style. (within reason) dress in what makes you happy!

Good God girl, you are well up to date, I still remember, Cliff Richard sitting on the railings outside Hackney Empire in the late 50's/early 60's. The Beatles hadn't started yet and Elvis was King. Morris Minors and Red Barrell Beer, which incidentally could have been sold in America during Probition as it was so weak. They used to say: Red Barrell is like having sex in a rowing boat. Yeah, fu**ing close to water................

What Cent.? I'm into transitional period armour costume as it goes with my sword work. It also goes great at the nightclub as it shines, glitters and jingles and pulls all the chicks. Maybe it's the thought of the 36inch chopper. Use chain mail. That's the answer!

Yes it is, there is nothing wrong with living in a decade of the past. Amish people do it and they are an acceptable part of society.

Well, there is an odd saying; "Everything old is new again". So don't think of it as being stuck in the 80's, think of it as "restarting an old fashion trend".

If that's what makes you happy, then go for it. It's your life to live and those things aren't harming anyone...some might think you a bit 'offbeat' but why be like anyone else.
No regrets...
