Because the different toothbrush-making companies all pay the dentists to say that their toothbrush is the best, but there's always that one dentist who refuses to be bought.

You carry a box of free toothbrushes into the dentist's office and then ask her/him which brand he/she recommends. Four out of five dentists are smart enough to say the brand you are gifting.

You find 1 dentist. Follow him/her to the store and watch them buy toothpaste. Then you ask then what is their favourite. Repeat four times I am surprised it was only 4 out of 5.

This was alleged to have been used in the whiskas cat food campaign where 8 /10 owners asked said there cat preferred Whiskas

The commercial people are so smart, they no how no to tell the trusth without lying. They dont pretend to sample all dentists, and they ask the question is a way to get the answer they want/

i love the first answer, there is no sceince to toothbrushes unless you have specific disorders, good luck
