Say for instance one day after getting into adult hood someone you trusted just came up to you and told you that when you were born you were born addicted to heroin or something.

I would say no. Once you are an adult it has no impact on you, so why bother someone with the stress of knowing that their mother did that to them.

On the surface, no. I think it would be a bummer to learn that piece of information. It would be a crashing thud to learn.

However, knowledge is power, and knowing that gold nugget of a bummer would be really helpful when things start happening later in life. Knowing that I started life deep in debt medically will be a rich help to doctors trying to help me out.

Thank that trusted friend for giving you a piece of yourself you could have spent decades trying to find and never pieced together.

I think it would be best to know in case you have medical complications or and unknown medical conditions! The information could be very useful and the person deserves to know!!

As hard as it would be to find out, you still need to know these things in case that information is needed in any future medical problems you may have.

i would want to know especially if i still talked to my mother, that would be a horrible thing, but in the past...if you know your bio mother..talk to her
