If the set is badly effected ie all distorted colour then you will need a professional de gauss wand but if there are only minor blotches try a soldering iron gun,Switch it on and go in circular motions around the effected area ie switching it on then off,until the picture is improved.

Nials answer is a good one , and will do the job , if you can`t get hold of a solder gun and the colour is not badly affected then it will correct itself over a week or so , you have to switch the set on and off properly though so that the set comes on from cold ! then the sets auto degauss circuit will operate and do the job for you, remotes that only put the set on standby don`t always make the set start from cold !! Give it a try though nowt to lose eh !
