oh, for pity sakes, you do not need "an actual school teacher" to tell you if a ten year old can do that work or not. LOL!!!!!!!
How bout asking a ten year old, or someone that has been 10 recently.
I just asked my 14 yr. old daughter what grade she thought she was in when she was doing that kind of work and she said 3rd grade.
Hmmm, does that make her an "actual school teacher"?????
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

if your child studies this type of tasks a view days i´m sure that then a 10 year old child can do this, but he/she has to be very intelligent. the child has to know the basics of maths and the most tasks arrogate only the circumference.

Our 8yo is has been doing perimeters for quite some time as well as beginning algebra. Perhaps it depends on the curricula?

Maybe. If the ten year has the proper foundation.
The math-facts should be memorized and understood. And reading should be at a level of reasonable comprehension.

I'm not sure. This looks a bit difficult. If you go to allexperts.com, there are actual school teachers on there that will give you a better answer than we will though.
