The stress is knowing that soon an adolescence will become an adult, then they will be faced with making decisions for themselves and having to face responsibilities.
The storm would be trying to battle parents for freedom or space to make their own decisions, but yet still act like a kid. Then there is the hard lesson of loving and loosing a love for whatever the reason. Just sometimes making an identity for themselves can cause storm in their lives.

adolescence is a period of storm and stress bec. thats the time when teens are curious about all most everything and anything, and thats the stage where we cant figure out what we really are or what we want to become of ourselves.we just tend to go w/ the flow or just imitate what we see in the environment.
