I dont know if a week of being single from that long of a relationship to start a new one. I just miss the excitment of getting to know someone new... let me know.

Go out an have fun...you don't have to get serious, I mean don't rush a new relationship even if this new guys likes you..but take a few months to get to know him and maybe even some other guys and see what happens. But there is no reason you can't hang out with new guys but don't rush a new relationship with just one person.

There's really no "dating too soon" I know from personal experience. My GF and I broke up after a two year plus relationship and two months later she had a new BF. It all depends if you feel ready to start dating and what not. In my case I feel like dating, but nothing serious at the moment, I just don't have the emotional energy yet. It all depends on how you feel personally about the idea. If you feel comfortable to start dating again then go for it. If not, then follow your heart and it will let you know what to do, and when its ready. No need to rush thing, no need to listen to other people but yourself and what you trully believe inside of you. As I said, if you feel like you're ready and you find yourself at peace with this decision then there is nothing to lose and you should most certainly go for it. Remember that you are the only person that can take those sorts of decisions because no one else can go inside your heart and/or head and tell you how you feel and what to do. Just listen to what your heart has to say.

Most people who are 'bored' are boring.

Wanting to start a new relationship with someone because you 'miss the excitement of getting to know someone new' is NOT a good reason. Perhaps a few years of maturity would be a better idea?

Go at her, anytime is a good time. If the last relationship was not working out why worry, move on with your life. If you have any feelings of remorse from the last relationship finding someone new will help you get over that. Just remember in time that excitement will be lost and you will be in the same situation which you were currently in.

It doesn't really matter, whenever you feel comfortable. Just make sure that you're not dating your friends cousin just to "fill in the gap" so to speak. Sometimes it's hard for people to break up, and no guy wants the baggage of your previous relationship on his shoulders. But if you really like him, then go for it!

you sound like me..you get bored..there's nothing wrong with that..if there's no fire there why keep on throwing in kindling? more on..find some excitement..you only live once so live! I love going on first dates and experiencing that new conversation...learning about someone else's life and customs and that first new kiss

Be friends. Get to know each other first and go from there. Don't jump into something just because. Getting to know him first has friends is the best way to start anything.

anytime is a good time, but if you left your bf cause he was not exciting to you enough , gee what you gonna get another bf and after 2 yrs do the same thing, ppl grow up and start talking to your bf/gf's tell them that your bored, or your lonely stupid questions thanks for the 2 points, and get a life!

It's not too soon, the relationship has been over that's why you were bored.

Sounds like you were single long before you broke up with him.
