You have been sentenced to death for your faith.
The death sentence: To be thrown into the lion's pit.

Obviously, you try to wrestle free of the strong guardsmen, but they overpower you and throw you in.

You hit the ground, heart beating rapidly, but nothing happens, just darkness and growls.

Then, something furry rubs against you.......

For faith moves mountains

Sounds rather lusty to me... but as they say, when in rome, do as the romans do -- in a den of lions, get undressed, on all fours, and try to roar. Just like in prison, you might end up their "plaything" but, hey, I could live with that.

I would like to think I would be brave like Daniel. But I would get on my knees & pray for God's will, whatever that may be. That if it was death that it would come quickly.

There are today those who have the strength of faith as Daniel... All of us of The Faith hope that our Faith is that strong when our time of testing unto death comes... if it is not we know God will still intervien as He wills for us. and that is suficiant.
