I used to have a dog I named DA. I told my mom it meant Disaster Area, but it was really my boyfriends initials. She figured it out.

DA stands for Dearness Allowance which is the allowance paid to the person especially an employee when he goes on kon an official tour ie: amount to be spent for his expenses for that particular day of his official tour. The other allowance he gets is the TA ie: the travellling allowance which he spends for his journey from his destination to the programme scheduled in the official tour of that particular day.

Since this is asked under parenting, I am assuming you do not mean District Attorney. On foods (like cereal) it says USDA -- here I believe that DA means Daily Allowance.
