We do not use the star of david as a symbol. We actually have many symbols. The square and compasses with the G in the middle is the most common. We also have different symbols that apply to different parts of Freemasonry. You may be referring to the Easter Star symbol, which is a five pointed star. That symbol is for the women's Masonic organization, Order of Eastern Star. The Star of David is a six pointed star, and has nothing to do with Freemasonry.

It's not used a symbol for the Free Masons. Freemasons use the square and compass. In the US they place a G in the between the square and the compass while other contries leave it blank or use a different symbol.
As far as I know the Star of David or Solomons seal is not used in Freemasonry.

The Star of David, which is all over my neighbourhood at Hannukah, is for Jews and not 'Free Masons.'
Star of David or Magen David, (Hebrew “Shield of David”). The Star of David is a six-pointed star made with two equilateral triangles and has been a symbol of Judaism since the 17th century. It is the central motif on the flag of Israel, and since 1897, the emblem of Zionism.

It starts with the basic components of the symbol. The two triangles. The upwards triangle which symbolizes a mans phallus. And the downwards triangle representing a woman's womb. These two joined together form the God and Goddesses union. They are a secret Pagan organization. Haven't you read The Davinci Code?

The triangle pointing down symbolizes the female and the upward triangle is the male. When the two triangles are interlaced, it represents the male and female elements. To the Masons, the triangles depict sexual intercourse.
