i would only pack cloths and books your computer an ipod those are things you can have. yes water and coffee are liquids. look at the tsa web sight it has the most up to date info it will make your check point expirence easer and much faster. also have socks on because you will have to take off shoes the only thing you can have on your feet is socks.

Just don't take a carry-on bag with you, check it!!! And you'll have nothing to worry about. You can't take anything liquid on the plane, no hairspray, no toothpaste, no deodorant, no shampoo, no nothing like that. Its just easier to check your bag.

if you're flying trans-atlantic, no liquids of any kind.
other flights you are allowed to take liquids if you are prepared to taste them. you are not allowed gels on any flight. you are allowed travel documents, medication and, for the ladies, sanitary goods and baby milks/food. contact your airline to find out more.
