Call the police and file a report. Also call the phone company and file a report with them. you don't need a witness but try to keep records of when she calls, what is said and you might even think about filing an order of protection. Good Luck and for your own safety don't take and chances.

Your county courthouse will likely have a domestic abuse service center or department that handles the filing of restraining or harrassment orders. you will need any evidence you have of past incidences of this person's harrassing you , such as police reports or other paperwork, or just a list of dates when they physically touched or made threats to you as well as what exactly the threats were. Where I live you also pay a fee to file for this order, but it can be waived if you can show proof of being unemployed or on public assistance. In this order you will ask that this person be excluded from your home address, your place of employment, and any other location where you wish to specify.
After the intake worker writes up your temporary order, it is sent to a judge to be either approved due to enough evidence, or it could be rejected and not signed by the judge if they feel it is without merit.
If your order is approved, you keep a copy of it with you at all times, and the sheriff will be serving the order upon the respondent as soon as possible so that they are aware of the order being in effect.
The filing of a protection order is a civil matter but violation of it is a criminal offense which means that if the person you file against ignores the order and has any contact at all with you.....email, letters, phone calls, in person, or through another person by asking them to deliver a note to you, you can call the police and report the violation. Violation of a restraining order is a crime for which they can be arrested and they will have to go to court to answer for that.

All of the above is how things are done in Minnesota, your state/county laws may vary, but the general idea should be the same.

Depending on what state you live in you may be able to put a restraining or protective order against this woman to keep her from harrassing you by phone or in person. In some states she could be guilty of "stalking", in SC a person found guilty of stalking receives a year in jail. In VA the district attorney's office can help you obtain a protective order. Check with your states laws concerning harrassment, stalking and requirements for a protective or restraining order.

Go to the Police and file a restraining order. You dont have to have a lot of reason for one. If she does not abide by the restraining order call the police on her. That will fix her goat!
(Used to work in a divorce Atty office, know a bit about restraining orders).

yoy should contact your local police department and let the phone company know also. when she calls and hangs up call *59 and then note the time someone is calling you. this will establish a pattern and possibly a criminal activity.

No. Call the police and explain who she is, how it started, how long it has been going on, etc. They can check phone records.

First you have to spell HARASSMENT correctly. One R.

Then you get an ASBO (if you are in England) or a restraining order (any other English-speaking country). And you wait for your target to violate it, and then you get her sent to jail.
