Will a queen duvet bedset fit on my full bed if i put a pillow-top on the bed? Will it look really bad? I really want this queen set but I have a full bed so I'm trying to find ways to work around it.

There is only a 6" difference in the width of a full-size and Queen-size bed so you are talking about only 3" on each side of the bed for additional overhang. That difference is so slight it isn't even noticeable. Besides, when it comes to comforters, duvets and bedspreads....the size is usually sold as Full/Queen. The extra 3" on each side will add a richer, custom look to your duvet as the full size is cut to just cover the mattress, leaving the box springs exposed.

A queen duvet would be too wide for your full size bed, even with the pillow-top. Even-though you might like it you will like it less if doesn't fit properly. Look further!

I would definitely use a queen size with the pillow top. It will cover the entire mattress and most of the box spring, but will not drag on the floor. Will look richer--I always use queen size quilts, etc. on a full size bed.

Go for it! When we had a full bed, I always bought queen top sheets and comforters or I would end up with no covers - full top sheets are really skimpy. Now we have a queen bed, and I buy queen fitted sheets and king top sheets, comforters, etc. It's much more comfortable than being uncovered every time your partner rolls over!

It will look great. I have a queen duvet on my full size. It hangs a little longer, but I like that, and it's barely noticeable. Gives you more to snuggle up in!

Oh yeah, it should work fine. I just bought a new comforter, shams, etc. and the size was called: Full/Queen. It worked out great on my Queen size. You may not even need to put a pillow top on your bed.

Good luck to you.

well, it looks fine, it hangs a little but it looks alright. If anything, find a tailor in your local area and have them take it in to a full-size duvet. I had that done with my queen size duvet and they also converted a king-size duvet to 2 twin size duvets, very cool. in all it cost me $4 to do both sets!

should be fine. queen sheets on a full would probably look sloppy. but the duvet and other components should be fine. if it does look bad, most places will let you return if you say it doesn't fit.

Go for it. I have a queen, and I ALWAYS buy KING comforters and etc for it. Fits so much better. Sheets, though, I wouldnt try.

I'd do it. It will be a little longer on the sides but I don't think it will drag the floor.
