yes it could do 1080i and 720p using the dvi-d port, now it does not do a true pixel per pixel mapping because it is a xga projector, so it does not go to native hidef 1920x1080 but thtas typical fro consumer prosumer type devices

this is vintage hd projector, it came out in early 2003 so if you want the latest hd projector you should not buy this...ie because resolution is not the only thing you should be concerned about you should look for high contrast projectors over 5000 to 1 now.

this piece is 700 to 1, so don't buy it as the prices have dropped for the new projectors.
