What's with all the 'no's' ever been there I ask? I try to get to Thailand twice a year for three or four weeks at a time and go all over the country from the north to the south. Worst experience I've had, a taxi driiver tried to overcharge me!. Go and you'll have a great time and the food is great and prices are a fraction of British prices.

I,m Thai and now i stay in Bangkok. It safe everybody have normal life not any violent can go out at night. solders are friendly if u see the news u can see people give flowers to solders children going to see tanks. i think we happy with this situation you'll understand if u know what taksin do with thailand.

no, why don't u go down south to Kuala Lumpur. Not as good as Thailand but safe & peaceful place if u need that nowadays.

Well the Canadian government says it is safe as long as you stay away from government buildings. I don't think that any government there wants to create an incident that would cause another drop in tourism, it is too important to their ecomomy. Nor would they want to have an international incident that would cause a foreign government to become involved in this situation.

don't see why not... u take chances that threaten ur life every day why not get on aplane and travel to thailand if it wans't safe then they would not let u go there hey

Yes it is safe. You need to be careful wherever you go, but it is safe. We just had a team go over in May... they are ALL fine!!!
