What does it mean to "reauthor" a dvd?

It means that during the process of saving the DVD you tell the program not to save all of it, but instead save certain portions of it instead. For instance, say you want to only save the main movie and only the English subtitles. You would "reauthor" the files so that those are the only files saved to the hard drive.
