Yes, STD's, and HPV. There are no absolute precautions against disease accept having no sex, which isn't going to happen because it's in our nature to have sex. Some of this stuff is impossible to detect without symtoms. So, as doctors say, if you've had sex with at least two partners, you probably have at least HPV. And it doesn't matter if you have premartital sex or not, because your partner that you find, who is your love, may not be a virgin, and may be unaware of having HPV. They might have only had sex once, or just rubbed a bit, thinking they'd be safe.
Sex is risky no matter how you look at it, but you take the risk because of love, if thats what your looking for.
Besides that, sex in itself is healthy

Safe sex is good for mature persons whether pre-marriage or post marriage or in between.
You have to protect yourself against sexually transmitted infections (STIs) which are diseases or infections that have a significant probability of transmission between humans by sexual contact, vaginal intercourse, oral sex, and/or anal sex.
here is a short list:
Chancroid (Haemophillius ducreyi)
Chlamydia infection (Chlamydia trachomatis)
Donovanosis (Granuloma inguinale or Calymmatobacterium granulomatis)
Gonorrhea (Neisseria gonorrhoeae)
Lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV) (Chlamydia trachomatis serotypes L1, L2, L3. See Chlamydia)
Non-gonococcal urethritis (NGU) (Ureaplasma urealyticum or Mycoplasma hominis)
Syphilis (Treponema pallidum)
Cytomegalovirus
Hepatitis D
Herpes /HSV (Herpes simplex virus)
Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV/AIDS)
Human papillomavirus (HPV)
Certain strains of HPV cause genital warts
Certain strains of HPV cause cervical dysphasias which can lead to cervical cancer
Molluscum (MC)
Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS)
Pubic lice a.k.a "crabs" (Phthirius pubis)
Scabies (Sarcoptes scabiei)
Candidiasis (thrush) (Candida albicans) is not strictly an STD but can be transmitted through sexual contact
Protozoal
Amoebiasis (Entamoeba histolytica)
Giardiasis (Giardia lamblia)
Trichomoniasis (Trichomonas vaginalis)
and HIV
so use condomes or maybe better wait for the while till you mature and more careful.

If you're protected, then there's no way it can affect your health BADLY. It makes you feel sexy and great! Also, if done routinely (like 3x a week or so), it can result in weight loss (not tons, but still).
Also, the zinc in semen can make your teeth whiter.

But otherwise sex is very healthy.
Harmful effects are pregnancy and stds.
And those effects are not reversable.
