Possibly, but political affiliation is often a deep seated value. And matching values is important in relationships. I have on occasion dated conservatives, but it is important to ME that values be generally the same. But this would vary, according to individual and I have some wonderful friends that are not democrats....and the dates I mentioned also usually had different views on religion so that is 2 values now unmatched so....if everyone could follow the live and let live policy I should think there wouldn't be a problem, sadly, this is usually not the case, and being the female it's usually the man that wants me to change to his views. Not going to happen!!! Good Luck and Peace.

I asked a similar component, and did no longer get a sturdy reaction from all people. the component that I observe once I debate with somebody, is that we ultimately come to uncomplicated floor, i.e. compromise. whilst somebody takes the time to do politics the impressive way, the yank human beings win. yet in this recession, and the activities maximum appropriate as much as, human beings have been given so indignant over matters that politicians took the emotional wave to get elected- democrats did it in 2006 and 2008; republicans did it purely some months in the past. This has led to great polarizations between politicians, and subsequently something of the country. we've been so busy attempting to furnish a enhance to our arguments and teach we are impressive approximately each and every thing that our minds are actually programmed to reject any opposition to our arguments. Then there is human beings such as you and me, who see issues for a fashion they are. you're impressive-center, and that i'm left-center. even inspite of the incontrovertible fact that we can possibly no longer agree on each and every subject depend, we could desire to nevertheless have a logical debate and locate compromises- representing a win for u . s . a . of america.

Why wouldn't they? People with far more different opinions have done it (ie different religions, backgrounds, races, family values). Politics should not interfere with feelings you have in a signifigant other.
